Accessing knowledge and information is a prerequisite to effective action and democratic participation, yet many urban residents can’t easily find information about the rules and regulations which govern the city.  Know Your Government clarifies the official and unofficial power dynamics of the city to facilitate stronger ties among public servants, officials, and residents. Accessibility to state institutions and a more transparent government and regulatory framework can only improve Cairo.
